Mgahinga national park

This is found in southwestern Uganda and was established in 1991 in an area which was a game reserve. The park is famous for its mountain gorillas and the golden monkeys and endemic birds. The park consists of the bamboo forest, Albertine rift montane forests, Rwenzori – Virunga montane moorlands with tree heath and alpine zone at the higher altitudes which are homes for these primate creatures. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park shares boundaries with the magnificent Virunga National Park in DR Congo and Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. These are other gorilla trekking destinations in Africa. Rwanda currently has about ten (10) habituated gorilla groups in Volcanoes Gorilla Park and each gorilla permit costs US$1500. Kidepo Valley National Park

This is a long distant national park found at the edge of northeastern Uganda in Karamoja district. Kidepo describes  Uganda’s wilderness and it has the highest concentration of the game animals such as the big five mammals like the Lion, Leopard, elephant, buffalo and giraffes, rhinos, antelopes, oribis, warthogs, waterbucks, bushbuck, reedbuck,  the ostrich.

While at the park expect only wonders because you will spy the seasonal rivers such as Narus River and the Kidepo valley and the Kanangorok hot spring. Uganda Wildlife Education Centre

This is where a client experiences a locked up excitement when encountering caged up wildlife species. It is located in Entebbe town and was established in 1952 occupying 72 acres of land. It is a wildlife sanctuary aiming at rescuing, rehabilitating orphaned species which were abandoned by their mothers, smuggled, trafficked and poached by the locals. The zoo is a home to over 400 indigenous wildlife species, 500 plant species, 250 bird species depicting the three Uganda’s eco-system of wetland birds, savannah birds and forest birds.

Wildlife species have been spotted caged for those that are thrilling and the gentile ones are left to roam freely in the area. Wildlife species at Uganda wildlife include cheetahs with their horrifying looks, elephants, rhinos, snakes such as cobra, Gabon, vipers among others, camels which are used to give short rides to children and also take photos, ostrich the largest fly- less bird which runs fast, primates like the vervet monkeys and luckily one can spot some Rodents.

Ngamba Island

This is a famous Chimpanzee sanctuary found on Lake Victoria in Mukono district on an isolated island called Ngamba. It is a home to orphaned and rescued chimpanzees from smugglers and every chimpanzee at the island has its story. A great epic experience of the sea breeze while travelling on either an engine boat or speed boat depending on one’s choice and their one encounters different island surrounding Ngamba Island. Ngamba is occupying 100 acres and 98 is forested harbouring 49 chimpanzees, 22 being male and 27 female. It’s believed 2 chimpanzees have been born at Ngamba Island. Murchison falls national park

Murchison falls National Park is ranked as the largest national park in Uganda. It is found in northwestern Uganda and sits on Lake Albert on Lake Victoria along Karuma falls. It is the first national park established in 1952. The park is famous for its Murchison falls that surges through the Niles narrow gorge.
